Abstract

Background : Ocular surface squamous cell carcinoma (OSSN) is a general term for various conjunctival tumors, including conjunctival intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC).
Objective: To evaluate the clinico-demographic characteristics and histopathological findings of ocular surface squamous cell carcinoma.
Materialsa and Methods: eyes of 47 patients aged 21 to 80 years with conjunctival tumors were included in the study and underwent excisional biopsy and subsequent histopathological examination.
Results: Statistically significant associations were found with age, symptom duration, and lesion size (p<0> Conclusion: Benign and preinvasive lesions are more common than invasive lesions.
